IMOVAX POLIO

POLIO INFANRIX, POLIOBOOSTRIX (polio, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis)

INFANRIX HEXA (polio, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, hepatiris B, Haemophilus Influenzae)

It is administered intramuscularly.

The most common side effects are pain and redness in the injection site, fever, headache and general malaise.

Vaccination must be postponed if suffering from a high fever. It is to be avoided if severe allergic reactions to the vaccine or any of its components have occurred before. If pregnant or breast-feeding, it is important to speak to a medical specialist before vaccination.
